This ambitious goal required us to completely reconsider our approach and fundamentally rethink the fabric we would use. Why We Chose Woven Linen Over Knit When examining the market, we noticed that most t-shirts are crafted from knit cotton. While this material offers stretch and initial comfort, it frequently lacks longevity. Through our research and personal experiences, we identified several persistent issues with traditional cotton tees: Folding and curling at the collar after multiple washes The fabric often begins sagging noticeably over time, particularly around stress points like shoulders and chest. Even when still technically wearable, many cotton tees develop a visibly worn-out look that diminishes their appeal. We recognized that woven linen, with its natural structural integrity and exceptional breathability, could effectively address these common problems. This led us to develop a t-shirt using 100% pure linen in 60 LEA, specifically woven to provide enhanced strength and sophisticated style that stands the test of time.
