Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. General
- This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the provisions on electronic records in other statutes as amended by that Act. It is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature.
- This document is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which require us to publish the terms of use and privacy policy for access to and use of linentrail.com.
- The domain name linentrail.com (the “Website”) is owned and operated by Kollara Enterprises Private Limited (the “Company” or “Linen Trail”), a private limited company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at Thrikkumarakudam Temple Road, Ayyanthole, Chungam, 51/1433, Thrissur, Kerala 680003, India. Where the context allows, this includes its representatives, administrators, employees, directors, officers, agents, successors and assigns.
- In these Terms of Use (the “Terms”), wherever the context requires:
- “You”, “Your” and “User” mean any legal person or entity accessing or using the services, or purchasing Products, on this Website, who is competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- “We”, “Us” and “Our” mean the Website and/or the Company, as the context requires.
- “Products” means the items listed for sale on the Website by the Company, including but not limited to apparel such as shirts, trousers, shorts and kurtas, and fabric.
- “User Content” means any information You provide as a registered User on the Website.
- “Party” and “Parties” refer to the User and the Company individually and collectively, as the context requires.
- The section headings in these Terms are only for organising the provisions in an orderly way. Neither Party may use them to interpret the provisions, and they have no legal or contractual value.
- Your use of the Website is governed by these Terms and the Privacy Policy (the “Policy”, available at https://linentrail.com/policies/privacy-policy), as amended by the Company from time to time. Visiting the Website or using any of its services means You unequivocally accept these Terms and the Policy and agree to be bound by them. You agree that the Terms and the Policy run together, and that the expiry or termination of one ends the other, except as provided in Section 3.
- You agree that these Terms and the Policy form a legally binding agreement between You and the Company, and that the rules, guidelines, policies, terms and conditions of any service provided on the Website are incorporated into these Terms. No signature or express act is needed to make these Terms and the Policy binding on You; visiting any part of the Website is Your full and final acceptance of them.
- The Company may amend these Terms at any time without prior notice, and amendments take effect immediately. You should check these Terms periodically. If You continue to use the Website after a change, You are deemed to have accepted it. As long as You comply with these Terms, You have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited privilege to enter and use the Website.
2. Eligibility
You represent and warrant that You are competent and eligible to enter into legally binding agreements under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and that You have the authority to bind Yourself to these Terms. You may not use the Website if You are not competent to contract under that Act, or are disqualified from doing so by any other law currently in force.
3. Term
These Terms remain a valid and binding contract between the Parties for as long as:
- You continue to access and use the Website; or
- any transaction between the Parties has not concluded to the satisfaction of both Parties;
whichever is longer. Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21 and 22 continue in full force indefinitely, even after these Terms expire or are terminated.
4. Termination
The Company may, at its sole discretion, terminate Your access to the Products offered on the Website, or any part of them, at any time without notice or cause. You remain bound by these Terms, and You may not terminate them until they expire as described in Section 3.
5. Registration
You can browse the Website and buy Products as a guest without registering. If You choose to create an account, You will be asked for information such as Your name, email address, mobile number and shipping address.
Where the Website offers sign-in through a third-party account (such as Google or Facebook), we receive the profile information that the third party shares with us, such as Your name and email address. Information collected about You is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You may share information about Linen Trail on third-party platforms such as Facebook and X (Twitter).
Registration is available only to persons aged 18 or over who are competent to contract (which excludes, among others, insolvents). If You are a minor and wish to use the Website, You may do so only through Your legal guardian. We may terminate Your account if we learn that You are a minor and have registered on, or used the services of, the Website. You are solely responsible for keeping Your username and password confidential, and any activity under Your account is deemed to be done by You. If You give us false or inaccurate details, or we have reason to believe You have, we may permanently suspend Your account.
6. Communication
By using the Website and giving the Company Your contact details, You agree to receive calls, automated or pre-recorded calls, emails, SMS and WhatsApp messages from the Company and/or its affiliates or partners, subject to the Policy. To stop receiving marketing or promotional calls or messages, use the unsubscribe link in any message, or email care@linentrail.com with the subject [Stop Promotions]. It may take up to 5 (five) business days for the Company to act on Your request.
Notwithstanding the above, the Company or its affiliates or partners may contact You about any service You have availed of on the Website.
Any information You share with the Company is governed by the Policy.
7. Charges
Browsing the Website is free. You pay only for the Products You buy. Product prices are as shown on each listing and include all taxes. The checkout page shows the total amount payable, including all taxes and any shipping and handling charges.
8. Mode of payment
- After You confirm the Products You wish to buy, You will be asked for Your contact details and payment information. We use third-party payment service providers (“ESPs”) to process these transactions. You authorise us to instruct the ESPs to process payments and refunds on Your behalf, in line with Your requests. You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of each ESP You use. If these Terms conflict with an ESP’s terms, these Terms prevail.
- The Company accepts the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include:
- credit and debit cards issued by banks and institutions on the Visa, Mastercard, RuPay and American Express networks;
- UPI and wallets;
- net banking from select banks in India;
- pay-later and EMI options offered through our payment partners, where available.
- When You pay by card, Your card issuer may ask You to complete additional authentication, such as a one-time password, as required by the Reserve Bank of India.
- To place a valid order, You must complete the transaction, including payment. Your order is processed once we receive the funds from Your bank or card issuer; this is when Your order is successfully placed. Products are then dispatched once the information You provided has been verified. Your card or bank statement will show a payment to Kollara Enterprises Private Limited, which may appear in abbreviated form; the Company has no control over this. By placing an order, You agree to the terms and payment policy published on the Website. The payment gateway may change as payment methods develop.
9. Security
Transactions on the Website are secure. Information You enter when transacting on the Website is encrypted to protect it from unintended disclosure to third parties. The Company and the Website do not receive, store or retain Your credit or debit card information. You provide it directly to the payment gateway, which is authorised to handle it and complies with the requirements of the banks, institutions and card networks it works with.
10. Product availability
Some items may be unavailable or out of stock because of demand or short interruptions in supply. Product specifications may change. The Company may make changes to any Product at any time without prior notice.
11. User obligations
You:
- are solely responsible to the Company and to any third party for any breach of Your obligations under these Terms and for its consequences, including any loss or damage the Company, its affiliates or its employees suffer;
- agree that Linen Trail may at any time modify or discontinue all or part of the Website, set, change or waive any fees for using the Website, or make offers to some or all Users;
- agree to give correct and accurate payment details to the approved payment gateway, and to use only payment instruments You lawfully own;

- agree to show valid proof of identity, if asked, to collect goods delivered by our logistics partner;

- grant Linen Trail the right to use any intellectual property in content You post on linentrail.com, for the purposes of the Website.
12. Restricted uses
You agree that You are a restricted user of this Website, and that You:
- will not cut, copy, modify, recreate, reverse engineer, distribute, disseminate, post, publish, transfer or sell any information or software obtained from the Website, or create derivative works from it, without the Company’s prior written permission. Wholesale reproduction or copying of content for any purpose, and unauthorised modification of data and information on the Website, are prohibited.

Using deep links, robots, spiders or any other automatic device, program, algorithm or method, or any similar manual process, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any part of the Website or its content, or to reproduce or get around its navigation or presentation, will lead to suspension or termination of Your access under Section 14. You may report any content on the Website that You find offensive or objectionable by emailing care@linentrail.com, and the Company may remove it at its sole discretion.
- will ensure that any material You post or upload on the Website is not offensive or objectionable and complies with applicable law. Any material the Company considers objectionable may be removed immediately without notice, and Your access to the Website may be permanently revoked, at the Company’s sole discretion.

- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent Your affiliation with any person or entity;

- post any image, file or data that infringes the copyright, patent or trademark of any person or entity;
- upload or distribute files containing viruses, corrupted files or any similar software or programs that may damage the operation of the Website;
- download any file posted by another user that You know, or should reasonably know, cannot legally be distributed in that way;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Website or any connected network, breach its security or authentication measures, reverse look-up or trace information about any other user or visitor, or exploit the Website or any information made available through it;
- disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise harm, the Website, its system resources, accounts, passwords, servers or networks, or any affiliated or linked website;
- collect or store data about other users of the Website;
- use the Website or its content for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by these Terms, or to solicit any illegal activity or any activity that infringes the rights of the Website or any third party;
- violate any code of conduct or guideline that applies to any Product offered on the Website;
- violate any applicable law, rule or regulation in force within or outside India;
- violate any part of these Terms or the Policy, including any additional terms of the Website, whether made by amendment, modification or otherwise;
- threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, incite the commission of any cognisable offence, prevent the investigation of any offence, or insult any other nation;
- publish, post or disseminate information that is false, inaccurate or misleading;
- offer or trade, or attempt to offer or trade, any item whose dealing is prohibited or restricted under any law, rule, regulation or guideline currently in force;

- advertise to or solicit other users of the Website to buy or sell products not displayed on the Website, send chain letters or unsolicited commercial or junk messages to other users through the Website or any other internet platform in a way that harms the reputation of the Company or its Products, or use information obtained from the Website to harass, abuse or harm any person, or to contact, advertise to, solicit or sell to any other user without the Company’s express prior written consent.
- You understand and agree that:
- You do not need to register to browse the Website or buy Products. If You choose to register, You will provide accurate and complete information.
- You are solely responsible for informing the Company of any changes to that information.
- Each account is for a single individual only, unless the registration page specifically says otherwise.
- You are responsible for keeping Your account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all use of Your account, whether or not You authorised it, and will notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of Your account or password.
- Any attempt to use fake or stolen credit or debit cards will result in the Company blocking Your account.
- We may collect certain information about You and disclose it to third parties as described in our Privacy Policy at https://linentrail.com/policies/privacy-policy.
- You authorise the Company and the Website to disclose any information about You in their possession to law enforcement or other government officials, as the Company believes necessary or appropriate in connection with investigating or resolving possible crimes, especially those involving personal injury or the theft or infringement of intellectual property. You understand that the Company may be directed to disclose information (including the identity of persons providing information or materials on the Website) to comply with any court order, law, regulation or valid government request.
- You agree that the Company has no obligation to monitor material posted on the Website, but may remove or edit any content that, in its sole discretion, violates or is alleged to violate any applicable law or the spirit or letter of these Terms. You remain solely responsible for any material You post on the Website. The Company will not be responsible or liable for any content posted, or for any claims, damages or losses resulting from it. You represent and warrant that You have all necessary rights to any content You provide, that it does not infringe any third party’s rights, and that it contains no libellous, tortious or otherwise unlawful or offensive material, and You accept full responsibility for any consequences of publishing it on the Website.
13. Communication with the User
When You contact the Company by phone, WhatsApp or email, You consent to the Company contacting You in return. The Company may send You notifications by email, SMS and WhatsApp about current promotional offers and discounts. You may contact the Company by phone, WhatsApp or email with any questions about Products.
14. Suspension of User access and activity
Without limiting its other legal remedies, the Company may at its sole discretion limit Your access or activity by removing Your access credentials temporarily or indefinitely, suspend or terminate Your account, and/or refuse You access to the Website, without notice or cause:
- if You breach these Terms or the Policy;
- if You have provided wrong, inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect information;
- if, in the Company’s sole discretion, Your actions may cause harm, damage or loss to other users or to the Website or the Company.
15. Indemnity and limitations
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Website and the Company, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents, successors and assigns, against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, caused by or arising from Your actions or omissions. This includes any warranties, representations or undertakings You give, any failure to fulfil Your obligations under these Terms, and any breach of applicable laws, rules and regulations, including infringement of intellectual property rights, non-payment of statutory dues and taxes, libel, defamation, violation of rights of privacy or publicity, loss of service by other users, or infringement of any other third-party right.
The Company and the Website will not be liable to You or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use, data or profits, whether or not foreseeable and whether or not the Company was advised of the possibility of such damages, on any theory of liability, including breach of contract or warranty, negligence or other tortious action, arising from or connected with Your use of or access to the Website, the Products or any material on it.
These limitations and exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This Section survives the termination or expiry of these Terms and/or the Policy.
16. Intellectual property rights
Unless expressly agreed in writing, nothing in these Terms gives You the right to use any of the Website’s trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, information, reports or other distinctive brand features, except as these Terms allow. All logos, trademarks, brand names, service marks, domain names, materials, designs and graphics created and developed by the Website, and its other distinctive brand features, are the property of the Company. The Company is the exclusive owner of all designs, graphics and similar material relating to the Website.
You may not use any intellectual property displayed on the Website in any way that is likely to confuse existing or prospective users, or that disparages or discredits the Company or the Website, as determined in the Company’s sole discretion.
The Company owns all the Products listed on the Website and all rights in them, including their designs. No intellectual property in any Product passes to You when You buy it.
The copyright and any other intellectual property rights that exist now or later in the Products or any other material prepared by the Company, whether readable by people or machines, belong to Linen Trail. They may not be reproduced, disclosed or used, in their original or translated form, without the Company’s written consent, for any purpose other than the one for which they were provided.
We respect the intellectual property of others. If You believe Your work has been copied in a way that is copyright infringement, please write to us at care@linentrail.com. This Section survives the termination or expiry of these Terms and/or the Policy.
17. Intellectual property complaints
- If You believe Your work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement, or You are aware of infringing material on the Website, email us at care@linentrail.com with:
- a statement that You have identified content on the Website that infringes Your copyright, or the copyright of a third party on whose behalf You are entitled to act;
- a description of the copyright work You claim has been infringed;
- a description of the content You claim is infringing, and where on the Website it can be found;
- Your contact details, including Your full name, address, telephone number and a valid email address;

- a statement that the information in Your notice is accurate and that You are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed;
- Your electronic or physical signature (a scanned copy is acceptable).
- By providing information to, communicating with, or placing material on the Website, including during registration, You represent and warrant that:
- You own, or otherwise have, all necessary rights to the content You provide and the rights to use it as set out in these Terms;
- all information You provide is true, accurate, current and complete, and does not violate these Terms;
- the information and content will not cause injury to any person or entity.
- For all such information and material, You grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and licence to use, copy, modify, display, archive, store, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works from it, in any form, media or technology now known or developed in future. You also allow us to use any material, information, ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques in any communication You send us for any purpose, including developing, manufacturing and marketing products. All rights in this paragraph are granted without any compensation to You.
18. Disclaimer of warranties and liabilities
- All commercial and contractual terms are offered by and agreed between You and the Company alone. These include, without limitation, price, shipping costs, payment methods, payment terms, date, period and mode of delivery, and other services related to Products.
- We may, but are not obliged to, limit sales of our Products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, on a case-by-case basis. We may limit the quantities of any Products or services we offer. All Product descriptions and prices may change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We may discontinue any Product at any time.
- Except as otherwise expressly stated on the Website, and subject to Your rights under applicable consumer protection law, all Products on the Website are offered on an “as is” basis without any warranty, express or implied.
- Linen Trail uses commercially reasonable efforts to show Product colours accurately on the Website. Because screens display colours differently, Linen Trail is not responsible for colour differences between the Website and the Products, and disclaims all liability for them.
- You access the Website and transact at Your own risk, and will use Your best and prudent judgement before buying any Product or using any information on the Website.
- The Website and the Company accept no liability for errors or omissions by themselves, their agents or third parties, or for any damage to You, Your belongings or any third party resulting from the use or misuse of any Product bought or service availed of from the Website.
- You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of Your credit and debit card details. The Company disclaims all liability arising from any unauthorised use of Your card.
- The Company and the Website are not liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from a declined authorisation for any transaction because You, as cardholder, exceeded the limit agreed between Linen Trail and our acquiring bank from time to time.
- This Section survives the termination or expiry of these Terms and/or the Policy.
19. Submissions
If You upload any content or design to the Website, You grant Linen Trail a worldwide, transferable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and licence, with the right to sub-license, to: (i) use, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform and publicly display copies of the content or design through online sales channels; and (ii) access, view, use, crop, resize, copy, distribute, license, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit and broadcast copies of the content or design in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed, to promote Linen Trail and the Website.
You represent and warrant that You own or control all rights to the content You contribute to the Website, and that the Company’s use of it does not infringe or violate any third party’s rights. If any affected third party takes action against the Company or the Website, You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and the Website for their use of that content. The Company may defend itself in any resulting legal dispute and recover its costs from You.
20. Force majeure
Neither the Company nor the Website is liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations if it is caused by events beyond its control and without its fault or negligence, including acts of war, acts of God, earthquake, flood, epidemic, riot, sabotage, labour shortage or dispute, government action, internet interruption, technical failure, breakage of undersea cables, hacking, piracy, fraud, or any other illegal or unauthorised activity.
21. Dispute resolution and jurisdiction
- The formation, interpretation and performance of these Terms, and any dispute arising from them, will be resolved through the two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) process below. This Section survives the termination or expiry of these Terms and/or the Policy.
- Mediation: The Parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably between themselves. If they cannot do so within thirty (30) days of one Party notifying the other of the dispute, it will be resolved by arbitration as set out below.
- Arbitration: The dispute will be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the Parties or, failing agreement, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitrator’s award will be final and binding on both Parties. Each Party will bear its own costs, although the arbitrator may direct either Party to bear all the costs of the proceedings. The arbitration will be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration will be Thrissur, Kerala, India.
- These Terms, the Policy and any other agreement between the Parties are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts at Thrissur, Kerala will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute between the Parties.
- Nothing in this Section limits any right You have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach a consumer commission.
22. Notices
Any dispute or grievance may be communicated to the Company in writing, sent to its registered office by Registered Post Acknowledgement Due or Speed Post Acknowledgement Due (“RPAD / SPAD”) at: Kollara Enterprises Private Limited, Thrikkumarakudam Temple Road, Ayyanthole, Chungam, 51/1433, Thrissur, Kerala 680003, India. You may also email care@linentrail.com.
23. Miscellaneous provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, read with the Policy, are the complete and final contract between You and the Company on their subject matter and supersede all other communications, representations and agreements, whether oral, written or otherwise.
- Waiver: If either Party does not require performance of any provision of these Terms at any time, this does not affect its right to enforce it later. A waiver of any breach, by conduct or otherwise, is not a waiver of any further or continuing breach, or of any other breach.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court or authority of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. The affected provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to correct the problem, while preserving as far as possible the Parties’ original rights, intentions and commercial expectations.
