Does 100% linen soften?

At Linen Trail, we use the Linius process, in which the fabric is pre-washed. This ensures that there is no shrinkage and the fabric becomes extremely soft. 

Does water damage linen?

No; as a matter of fact, the more you wash linen, the softer it gets. But you do need to wash with a little bit of attention and care. 

What accessories will work with this kurta set?

This kurta set is so good-looking that you will not need much else, but you can add some sunglasses if you are at a day event or a smart-looking watch and some traditional-looking footwear. 

Is there any special detergent to be used to wash linen?

We suggest that you use a gentle fabric cleanser to protect the fibres of the fabric.

Washing

For the first wash, Soak the shirt in lukewarm water to avoid creasing.
- You can hand wash or give a gentle machine wash with mild detergent and a short spin.
- Tumble dry it at a low temperature (remove from the dryer while they are slightly damp before they become stiff)
- Separate light and dark colours Wash in lukewarm or cold water at 40 Degree Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Avoid bleaching as it weakens the fibres and may affect the colour of the dyed linens.
